Striker Superstars from CyberSports

A new five a side football game that can be played online has just been announced by CyberSports. The game is called Striker Superstars and is using the Unity Technologies engine to power it and will let players command their own players from within a web browser.

The game play involves a user taking control of a player in the game, people can play in a team with the friends or play with strangers. The game is fasted paced and a thrilling experience for football and computer gaming fans. If you register with the game then you will be able to train your player as well as unlock achievements, all of which mean the players on pitch performance improves.

While improving your player and unlocking the games various achievements will mean you can brag to your friends it is also means you can upgrade inventoried items. The game is powered by an already existing game engine used for Football Superstars but has been modified heavily so it will be easily accessible through an internet browser.

Accessibility

One of the greatest benefits of the new game is that it greatly enhances accessibility.  There is no big client to download and install.  Technical requirements are so minimal that practically anyone with a computer and an internet connection will be able to play and in addition, no registration is required.

New players can log in as a guest and experience match play within seconds. Chatting with fellow players and saving the player’s created online profile is only possible with account registration, however.

Two Games, One Family

The release of Striker Superstars does not signify a departure from Football Superstars. To the contrary Striker Superstars is there to complement Football Superstars, not replace it.

Players who want to take their experience further and experience larger matches of 7 and 11 a-side, as well as joining persistent Player Managed Clubs can only do so via Football Superstars. Meanwhile, players of Football Superstars will be able to jump on and play with friends who would not otherwise be able to take part and grab some quick games during free time or their lunch break.

New anti-sectarian law up in the air The SNP has confused football fans over the new law proposals that will eliminate sectarianism. The law means that the singing of some football chants will become illegal, while the singing of others will not. The Scottish Community Safety Minister is Roseanna Cunningham and she has said that, “Songs that can potentially cause public disorder are the ones that we want to stop. Police officers are going to be the ones making the decisions on the street about which songs may cause public disorder.”

Critics have said that the law will just create confusion as people will not be sure which songs are a criminal offence and which are not. The implementation of the law has been delayed after comments by Ms Cunningham that the singing of ‘God Save the Queen’ could be illegal.

Tom Devine a leading academic drew the comments from Ms Cunningham after he asked her to clarify the law saying that in its current state, “It could make this whole area of Scottish law into nothing more than a joke.”

Ms Cunningham further said, “This Bill does not suggest that any offensive behaviour would become illegal. It only covers offensive behaviour that the reasonable person would see as being able to cause violence. To think it could cover all offensive behaviour is just absurd, and besides, we simply do not have the space in our jails.”

The Scottish Labour justice spokesperson is Tom Kelly and he has said of the comments made by Ms Cunningham, “Those attending football matches need to know what is, and is not, allowed. We cannot have some arbitrary law; it is just going to leave people confused. This is just a complete shambles; it’s just leaving us with more questions than we have the answers to.”

David Beckham brother in law in legal tussle The brother in law of David Beckham was made to feel a failure in this high flying job in the city for not arranging meetings between his colleagues and his famous relative, a tribunal was told yesterday. 32 year old broker Darren Flood, who is the husband of Victoria Beckham’s sister Louise also suffered racist taunts as his grandfather came from India.

Mr. Flood is claiming constructive dismissal as he says he felt that he was forced to resign from his £50,000 a year job and that he suffered verbal abuse from the boss of the broking firm he worked for, London based BGC International. He is also alleging that BGC, which is located in Canary Wharf, carried out trades that were morally unacceptable and there was both heavy drinking and a strong drug culture within the firm.

Mr Flood, from Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire, says that he was also routinely asked to set up meetings with the Beckhams for clients in Los Angeles and Milan, and was made to feel very inadequate when he didn’t. He says that he felt unhappy about bringing his private life into the workplace and has never exploited his relationship to the Beckhams. He added that his stock answer was to see what he could do but never did.

. He said that his boss, Tony Herbert, was an incessant bully who repeatedly called him a ****. He also alleges that a senior manager at BCG who was wreaking of alcohol also confronted him and told him he had better make sure that David Beckham came to their offices. The hearing, being held in East London, is continuing.
